1. Retreat Details
A. The purpose of this Agreement is to outline the details of the Deep Release Massage Course and Retreat in Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain, as specified on
www.thespastew.com , scheduled to take place from 23rd to 29th of March, 2025.
B. The retreat will include the following:
1.Accommodation:
6nights' accommodation at the retreat center as listed on
www.thespastew.com .
2. Transportation from the airport to the Villa.
3. Meals:Evening dinner on arrival, and buffet-style breakfast,lunch,and dinner for four days,
with departing breakfast included.
4. Activities: Massage intensive training, anatomy lessons, Daily yoga, meditation,
and workshops. Other activities may be included.
5. Additional Costs: Any additional costs for lodging, transportation, extrafood, and
other expenses not listed above are the responsibility of the Participant. This includes airfares and local transfers, souvenirs, off-site lodging, etc. The Participant acknowledges that no other costs beyond those described herein will be included in the cost of the retreat.
6. Room Accommodations:
● Room assignments will be decided previously by the organizer.
● Requests for specific room types (e.g., single room, shared room) will be
accommodated based on availability and payment of the single room
supplement.
● Participants opting for shared accommodations will be paired with a
roommate of the same gender.
2. Payment Terms
A. The Participant will make payment via the website or other agreed-upon method, such as an invoice.
B. Cancellation Policy:
● Cancellations made 90 days or more before the start date of the retreat will receive a full refund, minus the non-refundable deposit (418 EURO)
● Cancellations made less than 90 days before the start date of the retreat are non-refundable.
● No refunds will be issued for no-shows or early departures.
C. All payments, including those under payment plans, must be completed one month
before the start date of the retreat.
D. Changes and Cancellations by Organizer:
● In the event that the retreat is canceled by the organizers due to unforeseen circumstances or insufficient participation, participants will receive a full refund of all payments made.
3. Disclaimers
By participating in the retreat, the Participant acknowledges that SPA STEW LLC, Laura Riera or guest speakers are not acting as medical professionals, therapists, or advisors. The services provided do not replace the care of other professionals. The Participant agrees that Laura Riera and SPA STEW LLC is not liable for any adverse effects or consequences that may result from the information or services provided.
4. Client Responsibility; No Guarantees
The Participant acknowledges that SPA STEW LLC does not make any representations regarding future outcomes resulting from the retreat. The Participant is 100% responsible for the results obtained from the retreat, and Laura Riera and SPA STEW LLC makes no guarantees regarding performance.
5. Intellectual Property Rights
SPA STEW LLC maintains all copyright and other intellectual property rights to any materials provided during the retreat. The Participant agrees not to reproduce or distribute any materials without prior consent.
6. Release
SPA STEW LLC may take photographs, videos, or other recordings during the retreat for future commercial or non-commercial purposes. By participating in the retreat, the Participant consents to being recorded and photographed for such purposes.
7. Non-Disparagement
The Participant agrees not to engage in any conduct or communications designed to disparage SPA STEW LLC or the retreat. This includes any remarks or comments made publicly or privately.
8. Liability Waiver
While SPA STEW LLC will take every possible measure to ensure the safety of the Participant during the retreat, the Participant acknowledges that SPA STEW LLC cannot control every circumstance. The Participant accepts responsibility for their safety and agrees to release Laura Riera as organizer and SPA STEW LLC from any liability for injuries or damages incurred during the retreat.
Participants acknowledge that they are voluntarily participating in the retreat and assume all risks associated with such participation.
The organizers, instructors, and venue owners shall not be held liable for any injuries, damages, or losses incurred during the retreat.
9. Medical & Health Conditions
The Participant must inform SPA STEW LLC of any pre-existing medical conditions or food allergies. Failure to do so releases Laura Riera and SPA STEW LLC from responsibility for any resulting health issues.
Participants are responsible for ensuring that they are physically and mentally fit to participate in the retreat activities.
The organizers reserve the right to make changes to the retreat itinerary or activities as necessary to ensure the health and safety of all participants.
The organizers recommend that participants obtain travel insurance or health insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to medical emergencies, trip cancellations, or interruptions. Insurance coverage is not included in the retreat package, and participants are advised to explore insurance options independently.
10.Participant Conduct:
Participants are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and responsible manner at all times during the retreat.
Disruptive behavior, harassment, or violation of local laws will not be tolerated and may result in immediate expulsion from the retreat, with no refund provided.
11. Travel Documentation & Insurance
The Participant is responsible for ensuring they have all necessary travel documentation and insurance. Laura Riera and SPA STEW LLC are not responsible for any issues related to travel documentation or insurance.
12. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from this Agreement will be resolved through arbitration conducted in Spain in accordance with the laws of the Canary Islands.
13. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Spain, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
14. Entire Agreement
This Agreement contains the entire agreement between the parties and supersedes all prior agreements. No modifications or amendments may be made except in writing and signed by both parties.
